Family-Friendly Farmstay & Co-living
Pachamama Retreat welcomes digital nomads, remote workers, homeschooling families, and creatives to a year-round coliving experience in Montenegro, Europe. Nestled above Kotor Bay, our eco-farmstay combines community living with yoga, shared meals, and the rhythms of nature. Alongside remote work and family life, many guests are drawn to Pachamama as an informal artist residency in Europe, a place to live, create, and exchange within a supportive community. Whether you are working online, guiding your children through alternative learning, or seeking balance through creative and community life, Pachamama offers space to focus, connect, and explore.
Digital nomads can work remotely from a cozy desk in their private room or alongside others in shared spaces. Kids continue their homeschooling with the support of other parents and the company of new friends, while exploring playful and alternative ways of learning and growing. Artists in residence, writers, musicians, and other creatives find inspiration in the land, the slower rhythm of farm life, and the shared energy of the community.
Together, we dive into the rhythm of the farm: gardening, feeding the animals, cooking, and sharing meals in the common area. In between work and play, there is space for yoga, meditation, sauna time (coming soon), cultural activities, or small adventures to town using the community car. Some days take us hiking to secret beaches or exploring nearby fortresses, while evenings often unfold into movie nights or long, laughter-filled dinners that make everyone feel like family.
Living at Pachamama
Life at Pachamama is simple, nourishing, and rooted in community. The minimum stay is two weeks, giving everyone enough time to fully arrive and settle into the natural rhythm of the surroundings.
You can choose from several accommodation options, from our cozy wooden cabins to shared or private rooms in the Stone House, or bring your own camper and stay in our campground. All stays include three homemade meals each day, prepared with care and shared together as a small community.
Rates vary depending on your accommodation and the season. Low season runs from November to April, and high season from May to October. Guests staying longer than four weeks receive a 20% monthly discount, with longer stays receiving greater savings: 30% for over three months, 40% for six months, and 50% for a full year. All long-term stays begin with a trial period of up to three months, giving both guests and the community the chance to ensure the experience feels welcoming and harmonious. If it’s a good fit, the stay can be extended, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the community and surroundings.
To keep our home warm, organized, and welcoming for everyone, each adult contributes about one to two hours a day to community life. This might include helping in the kitchen, caring for shared spaces, supporting the garden, or offering a personal skill. These small contributions are what make Pachamama feel like a family home rather than a rental.
Please note that we have only one shared kitchen, so individual cooking is not possible.
Our seven-seater community car is available for residents to use upon signing the agreement.
